Seeker Series – Abstract Art

A seeker is a person in search of empowerment. To find my power in life, I turned to abstract intuitive painting. During my journey, I explored various techniques and colour combinations. As implied by the name intuitive painting, I did allow each layer of paint to inform the next. However, my true confidence and power didn’t come until I was curious enough to bend and eventually break the rules. All my paintings in this series started off with the questions, what if or what can I do. What if I use this pattern, colour or texture? What can I do with pebbles, sand, or those leftover nuts and bolts from IKEA?
